I would never have worked this one out! We turned off IPv6 some time ago, server rebooted for an update, and wouldn’t come back up. Thanks – you saved us from re-build hell!

It really released me for some time, till today.
Now it is not working for me

On Windows server 2008 R2 Enterprise I have Jboss running on 8080 port.

I have configured 80 port forward to 8080 , even I can see proxy is being configured

>netsh interface portproxy show all
Listen on ipv4: Connect to ipv4:
Address Port Address Port
————— ———- ————— ———-
10.190.20.94 80 10.190.20.94 8080

Command used to configure this forward is

>netsh interface portproxy add v4tov4 listenport=80 listenaddress=10.190.20.94 connectport=8080 connectaddress=10.190.20.94

but when I want to access
http://10.190.20.94/
It is not forward to port 8080

firewall is off .
Jboss is accesible directly using 8080 port.
http://10.190.20.94:8080 Works fine

Please help me to check where I need to check the problem.

I was able to solve this for a user following the “disable cache mode” and then re-enabling it. Problem disappeared.

This method fixed it for me…try this

Method 2

Outlook 2010
Use one of the following methods to reset the whole Outlook nickname cache for Microsoft Outlook 2010.
Method 1
1.With Outlook 2010 open, click File (BackStage), and then click Options.
2.Click the Mail tab.
3.Under Send Messages, click Empty Auto-Complete List.
Outlook will generate a new nickname cache.

hi there – is it just me !! can any one explain why when i type in the bing browser “www.rickwargo.com” i get a different site yet whe i type it in google its ok? could this be a bug in my system or is any one else having same probs ?
